Well what can I say? I guess this will be the last letter that I will send from here in Mexico. That sounds a little weird to say! Truly I have felt over these last two days that I am just in a dream from which I will soon wake and I will still have another year to go in the mission. I think it will take a while until the idea truly sinks in!

Well this last week was really great! We had a really great time visiting people and teaching them. I think the greatest part was the baptism that we had for Esteban. He seemed to really enjoy it and everyone thanked us for organizing it so well. I think the greatest part was a special musical number that Elder Garcia, Ivan, and I were able to sing just before the baptismal ordinance. It was a mix of that primary song that goes ''I like to look for rainbows'' with ''Nearer my God to Thee''. Elder Garcia played the guitar also. Overall I thought it was really great. I have the video so I'll have to show it to you all.

Another great experience was last night in the house of President Camarillo. We had our dinner then we continued with testimony meeting there in his living room. As we were all sharing testimonies I was reflecting much upon what I could share there with all my dear friends. When it was my turn I thought just how different the mission was than I originally thought it would be. Then to my mind came the scripture in Isaiah 55:8-9. It states, ''For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts your thoughts.'' I realized that Heavenly Father really knows each one of us personally and has a plan for each of us. I truly wasn't sure how the mission would be but truly it wasn't at all how I might have thought it would be. I feel as though Heavenly Father knows exactly what we need to learn in this life and allows for us to have experiences that allow us to learn those things and become more like Him. I could never be more thankful for all the experiences in my mission. They have allowed me to grow, learn, and work to become better.

I would like to thank you all for all the support that you have given me in my time here in the mission. You have all helped me so much complete in my purpose as a missionary as you inspired me to help others even more. You have all blessed the lives of many as you have blessed my life.

Well I am really excited for Thursday. We will all definitely have many reasons to be thankful! Can't wait to see you all! Keep being great and we will see you soon!

Love,

Elder O'Brien :)
